49 Year Anniversary

Est. 1978

Est. 1978

Our classes are taught by dedicated and experienced instructors. Some of the instructors are 2nd generation and now teach the new 4th generation dancers (some of whom are daughters and grand-daughters of former Kawahine).

We embrace a learning environment that's full of enjoyment and inclusivity. All the hard work culminates at an end-of-the-year Gala event called the "Hawaiian Night" where your hard work is show-cased amongst your peers, alumuni, friends, and family. Its a wonderful night of amazing costumes, food and a lot of dancing (during the program and afterwards).

To provide an outlet for all ages by sharing and teaching Hawaiian, Tahitian and Filipino dances. We hope that our love for dance not only inspires but also builds long lasting friendships (some of our senior dancers have know each other since they were Keiki.)

After Studying all forms of classical and formal dance (including Hawaiian) at Centro Escolar University in Manila, Philippines, Siony began her teaching career as a physical educator and Hawaiian dance instructor.
In 1973, she immigrated to Canada and settled in Toronto Ontario, where she continued to teach.
After five years of teaching privately, she opened her own dance company. Over Forty-five years later, Siony's Dance Company continues to grow.
Aloha everyone!
